Jesmond Community Orchard

Green Jesmond visited Jesmond Community Orchard and spoke to founder Gillian O'Connel and treasurer Fiona Clarke.

Since its establishment in November 2009, the Orchard has served as an educational project, teaching people how to cultivate their own fruit and informing them about the importance of acting locally towards environmental concerns.

Jesmond community has fully embraced and supported the project.
