Located between South Gosforth and Jesmond Vale, Jesmond Dene serves as a vibrant and colourful environmental hotspot. A variety of wildlife including woodland birds, kingfishers and foxes inhabits the Dene, while its pet corner is home to llamas, pygmy coats, rabbits and pheasants. Its combination of native and exotic trees creates a peaceful green retreat for those who appreciate the importance of natural spaces and care about environmental issues.

Jesmond Dene hosts various volunteering

activities such as the Naturory project,  as well as educational field trips for schools.
